ACCP to Host New National Pharmacy Student Competition

There’s a new game in town! ACCP is pleased to announce the development of a novel national pharmacy student team competition. The “ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge” will debut in the fall of 2010.

The concept, developed by members of the 2008–2009 National StuNet Advisory Committee, will allow teams of three students to compete against teams from other schools and colleges of pharmacy in a “quizbowl”-type format. Preliminary rounds of the competition will be conducted virtually, and semifinal and final rounds will be held live at the ACCP Annual Meeting this October in Austin, Texas.

Additional details regarding the competition format, eligibility, and registration information will be available online later this spring. Please check the ACCP Student Web site at http://www.accp.com/stunet/index.aspx for updates.
