Pharmacy Residents Develop Video for Medical Center Staff

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted clinical pharmacists to develop an animated video outlining steps to promote workplace safety and conservation of personal protective equipment. Led by ACCP resident member Rahaf Al Quitani, clinical pharmacy residents at King Abdulaziz Medical City – Central Region, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Saudi Arabia, created the video. It’s intended to increase staff awareness of the need to limit exposure to infected patients, or those suspected of infection, without compromising the quality of care. The video was disseminated among hospital staff and has elicited very positive feedback.
